"The Arkansas Lottery – the USA Lottery Co. from the State of Arkansas"
The Arkansas State Lottery – or the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery to give the organization its full and correct title – was created when a constitutional amendment was approved by 63% of the State’s voters back on November 4th 2008.
The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery is run by the Arkansas State government who oversee the running and organization of all AR Lottery games.
Right from when the very first Arkansas Lotto ticket was sold on September 28th 2009 – the aim of the Arkansas Lottery was to benefit the people of Arkansas by raising proceeds to offer scholarships and grants to students in the State.
The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery is the newest USA Lottery company to be created – at the time of writing – and is now the 43rd US State to have its own in-state lottery (excluding the District of Columbia and the Virgin Islands).
The Arkansas Lottery Commission is based in Little Rock, AR.
The Arkansas State Lottery sells lottery tickets from its network of over 1,500 authorized AR Lottery retailers throughout the state and has its Headquarters at 1st Floor, Union Plaza Building, 124 West Capitol Ave., Little Rock, AR 72201.
In addition to its Headquarters in Little Rock – the Arkansas State Lottery has 3 Regional Claim Centers at Springdale, Jonesboro and Camden.
The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery also takes part in 2 of the biggest lottery games in the world – the huge Multi-State US Lotteries – the Mega Millions and Powerball which we will be looking into in much greater detail.
We will be looking at the various Arkansas Lotto games below – how these games work and who can play them – as well as delving into some of the history of the Arkansas State Lottery in more detail.
We will first of all take a look at these Multi-State USA Lottery games – that the AR Lottery offers in conjunction with the MUSL – Multi State Lottery Association and Mega Millions Consortium – and later move on to the other Arkansas Scholarship Lottery games that are available.
Currently the games offered by the Arkansas Lottery that it is easily possible for players to buy lottery tickets online for from anywhere in the world are these two huge USA Lottery games – the Mega Millions and the Powerball.
Other games offered by the Arkansas Lottery that you can play in-state are noted further down the page – if any of these other Arkansas Lotto games become available to a wider audience at a later date – we will be writing about it here.

Jackpots start off at US$ 40 MILLION and ROLLOVER after each draw when the top prize is not won – making for some massive jackpot figures.
6 numbers are drawn in total for the Powerball Arkansas game from 2 separate drawing machines – first of all 5 numbers are drawn from 59 white balls are drawn followed by 1 number (the POWERball) from 35 red balls.
Draws for the Arkansas Powerball Lottery take place twice every week on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9.59pm CST (10.59pm EST).
In addition to the 6 main Powerball numbers drawn – a further number is drawn – using a Random Number Generator…the Powerball POWERPLAY number…
This separate Powerball POWERPLAY number drawn will be either 2, 3, 4, 5 and occasionally number 10 – and is there to give players of the AR Powerball a chance to increase their winnings on all levels of the prize structure apart from the AR Powerball jackpot itself.
With Powerball POWER PLAY – you will multiply your winnings on these levels by 2x, 3x, 4x or 5x – greatly increasing the amount you can walk away with.
During special promotions – the Powerball POWER PLAY multiplier will be 10x – allowing AR Lottery players to increase their Powerball winnings by an incredible 10 times!
