LOTO 6 ¥ 600,000,000 LOTO 7 ¥ 600,000,000

Takarakuji

The roots of Japan Lottery games can be traced as far back in time as 1945 when the Japanese government first introduced a lottery – known locally in Japanese as Takarakuji – or 宝くじ.

The idea behind the introduction of Japanese Lottery games was to help the population by raising money for worthwhile charitable causes plus governmental organisations.

Throughout the decades these Japan Lotto games have taken different forms such as number lotteries and lottery raffles and have even incorporated prizes such as essential items, travelling and motor cars as opposed to the more common prize of money.

Nowadays, the principal Japanese Lottery games are organised by the Mizuho Bank which is authorised by the government of Japan to run & operate the most prominent of these Japan Loto games.

Mizuho

Many lottery players right throughout Asia will no doubt be aware that there are lots of Japan Lotto games – Takarakuji – that are played all across Japan every week.

These Lottery Japan – Takarakuji – games are played by people not only throughout Japan but right across the lottery playing world due to internet-based genuine & authorized, lotto ticket companies such as TheLotter allowing you to buy lottery tickets online from your the comfort of your own home, wherever you live in the world.

WEEKLY Japan Lotto Games

LOTO 6 – Takarakuji – Japan Lottery

Loto 6

The Japan Loto 6 is definitely the most popular and widely played out of all weekly Japan Lottery games & is a standard lottery jackpot style of Japanese Lottery – Takarakuji & was launched to Japanese players by Mizuho Bank in October 2000.

The Loto 6 uses a matrix of 6/43 meaning that when you play you need to pick 6 numbers out of a number range from 1 to 43. If you match all 6 of the numbers drawn you will win Loto 6 jackpot prize.

The Loto 6 jackpot starts off at a minimum of ¥ 200 MILLION and rises with a rollover each time that it is not won up to a maximum of a massive ¥ 600 MILLION at which point the jackpot is capped.

The Japan Lotto and the Mizuho Bank conduct the drawing for the Loto 6 twice every week on Mondays & Thursdays from 6.45pm.

The Japan Loto 6 results are available after each draw right here or on the official website of the Japanese Lottery mizuhobank.

The cost of playing the Japan Loto 6 is only ¥ 200 per single entry.

LOTO 7 – Takarakuji – Japan Lottery

Loto 7

The Japan Loto 7 is the biggest out of all the weekly Japan Lottery games & offers players the highest jackpots. The Loto 7 is another jackpot lotto style of game and was first introduced by the Mizuho Bank more recently in 2013.

The Loto 7 Japan is a pick 7 game  and uses a smaller matrix of 7/37 meaning that when playing, you will need to select 7 numbers out of a number range from 1 to 37. So actually, there are less numbers for you to choose from but you do need to select 1 more number than you do if playing the Loto 6.

The most exciting aspect of the Loto 7 Japan are the big jackpots you can play for. The Loto 7 jackpot starts off at a minimum sum of ¥ 600 MILLION and will rollover, getting bigger every time there is no winner up to the maximum jackpot cap amount of ¥ 1 BILLION.

The Loto 7 is drawn by the Japan Lotto & Mizuho Bank once every week on a Friday evening from 6.45pm at Dream House in Tokyo.

You can see the very latest Loto 7 results here at Global Lottery Review after every draw or visit the official Japan Lotto websitemizuhobank where they will also be published following the draw.

To play in the Loto 7 Japan the cost per entry is just ¥ 300 per line.

MINI LOTO –Takarakuji – Japan Lottery

Mini Loto

The Mini Loto is another very popular weekly Japan Lotto game first being introduced by the Japanese Lottery as a new Takrakuji much earlier in 1999.

Whilst the Japan Mini Loto is the smallest of the main Japan Loto games, it is very widely played due to its small guess range plus the incredibly good odds of winning that it offers all of its players.

The Mini Loto uses a matrix of 5/31 which means that when you play, you need to pick just 5 numbers out of a number range from only 1 to 31. All 5 correct numbers will make you a jackpot winner.

Your odds of winning the Mini Loto jackpot are just 1 in 169,911, meaning that the Mini Loto has some of the finest jackpot lottery odds offered by the majority of lotto games from around the world.

The Mini Loto jackpot remains static at ¥10 MILLION every draw and does not rollover if not won. But with the favourable odds of winning it is quite common for there to be more than one winner.

Draws for the Japan Mini Loto take place on Tuesdays at 6.45pm & you can see the very latest Mini Loto results here every week.

DAILY Japan Lotto Games

Numbers 4 – Takarakuji – Japan Lottery

The Japan Lotto Numbers 4 – is yet another highly popular game which will give you better odds of winning but has smaller prizes to be won than the Japan Lottery jackpot games.

Playing Numbers 4 you will first need to select your own 4 digit number which is followed by the application method that you wish to play with which can be just one of either 'straight', 'box' or 'set'.

The Japan Loto will draw a 4 digit number and you can win prizes in numerous ways. If you have chosen to play using the 'straight' method, your 4 digit number must match the 4 digit number drawn in exactly the same sequence of the 4 numbers that were drawn.

If you play Numbers 4 using the 'box' method, your 4 digit number can match the 4 winning numbers in any order they were drawn.

If playing using the 'set' method your 4 digit number can match the winning number with 2 of the numbers in the same sequence as those drawn and the other 2 drawn in any order  they were drawn.

The top prize on the Numbers 4 is approximately ¥ 1 MILLION and the drawing is conducted daily from Monday to Friday at 6.45pm.

Numbers 3 – Takarakuji – Japan Lottery

Japan Lotto Numbers 3

Numbers 3 from the Japanese Lottery works in the same way as the Numbers 4 game and is also a very popular lotto.

The Japan Numbers 3 offers even better odds of winning than the Numbers 4 game but the prizes are correspondingly smaller again.

This time a 3 digit number is drawn so you only need to choose 3 numbers plus the method of playing, 'straight', 'box', 'set' or 'mini'.

The additional method here is 'mini' which means you can match just the final 2 digits in the same order in which they were drawn.

The Numbers 3 top prize is approximately ¥ 100,000 and the draw is also made each day from Monday through to Friday at 6.45pm.
